Recordings in divorce/custody

Finally getting to point of realising there is no saving my marriage

I am the main earner in the house and DH works fewer hours because he wanst to be at home and i earn enough to cover most things. I still do more round the house etc. We have childcare in place too.

I'm very scared about custody as on paper he may look like the resident parent. And he could well go for it.

I have a recording of a fight where he says the following

"I know I don't do as much as you round the house. It's because those two boys are attached to you. Always have to be with their mother. It's not my fucking fault you do everything for the kids. The kids demand you do it all for them"

That is surely evidence that despite on paper him being the more "at home" one that he shouldn't get a bigger % of custody?

But is it usable?

(The recording also shows him being a total nasty twat but not quite abusive I don't think)

Any advice?

If childcare is in place how would he claim that he was doing proportionately more? I doubt very much that a court would a covert recording seriously.
