Feel a bit isolated

Don’t really have friends I’ve always found keeping up socially is hard. Especially since returning to work after mat leave. Any time away from work I want to spend with my son and boyfriend!

my boyfriend has 2 brothers who have partners, I feel like they don’t like me either. So it’s not like I could connect with them.

my team in work is mainly male who are all pally with eachother and it seems no room for a female :/

I just feel a bit isolated and that I have no friends

That sounds tough. Have you spoken to your boyfriend about this? It must be really hard being one of the only women at work too

I’m wondering if there are any beginner art and craft type classes you can join in your area? I’ve never attended one personally but I have a friend who goes to a pottery class one evening a week and has made a couple of friends there. They seem like a relaxed environment where new friendships could be formed quite authentically. Even if you don’t gel with anyone having a bit of time to yourself relaxing and being creative could give you a bit of a boost in other ways.

Not sure how pricey these things are but maybe could be something to look into. dont lose hope as remember things can turn around very quickly. 😊
