Male Violence and Brain Injury in Women and Girls

An interesting article on the prevalence of traumatic brain injury in women and girls who are victims of domestic violence.

That is frightening.

Add on the victims who don't get hit and you must be looking at close to 40%.....perhaps more, abusive relationships.

I suppose it makes sense that humans (I use that word loosely about abusive men) who are very considerably stronger than the humans they're being physically violent towards; are quite likely to cause significant injuries, some of which may not be visible/obvious.

It should be advertised to women so that they might be more likely to realise the dangers and hopefully leave after the first show of violence.

Not just the first show of violence, the first show of "control"
