That is frightening.

Add on the victims who don't get hit and you must be looking at close to 40%.....perhaps more, abusive relationships.

I suppose it makes sense that humans (I use that word loosely about abusive men) who are very considerably stronger than the humans they're being physically violent towards; are quite likely to cause significant injuries, some of which may not be visible/obvious.

It should be advertised to women so that they might be more likely to realise the dangers and hopefully leave after the first show of violence.
