I just made a Domestic Violence Report

Prompted by a discussion on here about female on male DV I have just made a report to the police. A man I know is probably/possibly being physically assaulted by his wife, I know that plates and crockery are regularly whizzed about the house, but I know for sure that their 15 almost 16 year old son is verbally and physically assaulted by his mother. She smacked him around the head in Foot Locker and in Costa or Nero coffee shops. The boy recorded his mother screaming calling him a C in the car and played it to his Dad. I called the police and told them what I know. I feel sick and terrified. The police assured me I've done the right thing. I hope I have. The Dad is terrified of losing the son and the power the mother has.

Also I hope this is on the right board. I didn't look for a DV board. Sorry.

You have done the right thing. Don’t feel badly for doing this. This could be the start of the father and son getting the help they need.,
