Bf wants me to meet his friends

And to put it bluntly I'm crapping myself!

We've been together 10 months. He has known them 25 years - they were at each others weddings, friends with his ex wife etc too and now they often to go to a nice pub for posh beer and play cards.

Next time they're going for an Indian and then the pub for cards and drinks - he's asked me to come. They want to meet me and have apparently been grilling him about me.

What if they don't like me?

His ex was tall, slim, super intelligent. They've all got hoot jobs etc - what if I don't measure up?

If he likes you and thinks you are good enough for him his friends will like you and see how happy you make him. I have been there a few years ago and trust me it was not hard at all once I was there. They were delighted he had met someone and did not judge me nor compare me to his ex :)

Has he met any of your friends/family yet ? How did that go?

Blushingm · 21/03/2023 16:51

He's not met any of mine - my family are all pretty scattered around the country so it's not come up.

My kids know of him but haven't met him. His kids are a little younger and still getting used to separated parents so it's not appropriate for them to know their dad is seeing someone new yet

He said he's told them he thinks things are going well and he's happy

I'm still so nervous though
