That’s the fact of the matter. Sexual intercourse with DH is painful … which is really sad as I fancy him like mad and he’s really amazing in bed! I continually get kidney infections even though we’ve used all manner of lubricants and different positions but it’s off putting. DH is always scared of hurting me. I know there are other ways to satisfy one another sexually but any suggestions would be welcomed….

An over endowed sexual partner 'hitting the buffers' is frankly painful. Changing the angle to reduce the impact simply serves to allow the adjoining bowel or bladder tissue to be pummelled instead so not a solution.

OP - you have my sympathy. To love somebody but discover you are finding you dread their approach is very sad and corrosive to the relationship.
