How many people do you talk to at any one time .. OLD

OLD is on line dating btw!
So I find it very overwhelming ... time consuming to be talking to more than one man at a time.
Is that unusual ?
How many people do you chat to at any given time ?

I'd answer anyone who wrote to me and seemed interesting. Wouldn't chat for long without meeting, though.

Depends how many have dm’d me.
Id rather talk to many than concentrate on one at a time.

80s is right - chat to anyone that seems interesting, but don't exchange more than a handful of messages before meeting up. You absolutely cannot tell how you'll get on with someone based on messages. If you do that, you'll find you have a bit more headspace available, rather than carrying on one long and intense conversation.

I'm talking to one man as I find it draining. We were meant to meet yesterday but he got waylaid at work so we'll meet on Monday instead.
We chat away through text and had a call and I don't want to get too invested as I think he's chatting to others but I find myself thinking about him and wanting to text him more and more !
He seems interested via text.
Do I play it cool ?

Maybe just claim you're very busy this weekend - exchange the odd few messages, don't get into long conversations.

Him: hello how are you today?
You: Hi, rushed off my feet 😂 will write later!
(six hours later)
You: How's your day been?
Him: blah blah blah
You: Sounds like fun. I'm off out again now :) See you on Monday!

I'm feeling jealous that he's possibly and probably chatting to others, which I know is ridiculous !
I need to leave my phone at home today.
I definitely feel like I'm getting invested already !

Gosh please don't invest. I always chatted to 4-5 to avoid getting invested in one (although there's normally one you like more than anyone else but I wanted to keep a cool head).

It's so hard when you've had nothing but interactions with creeps and opportunists and then you get chatting to what seems like a decent interesting respectful person.

Just imagine him chatting to all the others but secretly thinking of that one mysterious, busy woman who's harder to impress :)

i tend to concentrate on talking to just one person (maybe 2 at a push). I find chatting to too many of them frazzles my brain and I forget what I each one has said to me 🤣

Anyone cancelling on me is enough to put me off, they would have work hard at seeming interested to give them a chance. So I'd definitely keep my options open. I don't talk to many though because it's slim pickings on what I'd be looking for.

I must admit I like chatting to people on Whatsapp - it's fun.

I can rarely do more than one person at any one time though.

Basically it depends how much you are chatting. If you are just firing off the odd few words here and there then that can be done with multiple people at once.

If you are having full on lengthy conversations then it is difficult to do more than one at any one time. I never have more than one person at any time I am communicating with like this.

then unfreeze and start over 😬
