My SIL is a user. We used to be very close but she got a few new friends ( she's fallen out with them now ) and basically dropped me like a hot potato.

Me and my DH don't see much of her nowadays ( which I'm happy about ) but every now at then, when her new fella is busy with his kids and her kids are away at Uni and working, she'll make contact and invite herself over for tea.

If we meet out and about she happy for my DH to buy her drinks, food etc and makes no attempt to put her hand in her pocket.

It really irritates me as we only have one wage coming it and technically she's a sponger but my husband seems happy to do it.

How can I get around this issue without causing a rift?
