I started seeing someone in January, we’ve had a couple of dates a week since then. First sleepover weekend just gone. He’s not a boyfriend but we aren’t seeing other people so heading that way.

He asked me today if I wanted to go to his tomorrow and he’s going to cook for me. What do I take for Valentine’s Day? Just a card?

I took some beer for him as a thank you for letting me stay at the weekend. He gave me some flowers then. So thinking he’ll maybe just do a card too since he already got flowers?

Does he drink wine? If so, I'd get a bottle of that and some chocolates. If he doesn't, I'd just get the chocolates.

That way if he's just got you a card, you could make out the chocs are for you both to eat after dinner.

Yeah a card and a bottle of something would be nice given he’s cooking. I had only just started seeing someone at Christmas but he was cooking for me so I wanted to take something. I was glad I did as he bought me a little something for Christmas, eg just some chocs, a candle etc. I’ve bought him something from love honey for valentines and now it’s getting closer (we are doing our valentines on the weekend) Im scared about giving it! Haha. Might need to have a glass of something or two before I give that and just give the wine first!
