Hey I'm new to this but me and my girlfriend love each other but it gets iffy with our sex life it's still kinda new thing but I'd always be the one to ask her or setup something but if I didn't constantly remind her she would forget she says she likes when we have sex but she never asks. kinda bothers me about. is it just me being weird

Some women are a bit embarrassed to initiate sex. Maybe that’s what it is. Does she enjoy it when you do have sex?

Does she 'forget' because she's busy? Doing school run? working?

Any relationship has to find a balance that suits both parties. It sounds like you have a higher sex drive than your gf. But if she is busy with the necessities of life - working for a living or seeing to dcs - you both have to find a way to accommodate that. If she'd rather play on her phone or do a hobby then maybe it is a problem.
