Just to start off I’ve been in my current relationship for 4 years and the happiest I've ever been. However, the circumstances when i got with my husband weren’t the greatest to put it lightly. In my past marriage I didn’t feel loved and hardly had any intimacy with my husband, he was going out cheating on me and never really treat me like a wife just a house maid.
8 years ago his nephew (my husband now) came to stay with us since he was looking for a house and we had a spare room. He was working from home at the time and we would talk quite a lot since it was just us two at home. As time went on we became closer and ended up having an affair. My ex husband became aware of this and allowed it aslong as he could continue to see the woman he was seeing. The background we are from divorce is a cardinal sin and shouldn’t happen hence we just kept doing what made us happy until I fell pregnant. Secretly my ex husband and I divorced without our families knowing.
This left my current husband to break the news to the family that he was sleeping with me (uncles wife) it was frowned upon and i was called every name under the sun (maybe it was deserved) in order to be with me he had to leave his family which he did willingly (we were insanely in love and still are) its been 8 years and his family have not spoken to him until recently they would like to meet up with him and me and our three kids to reconcile differences and try to mend bridgess. I am very nervous and dont know how to approach this.
