Leaving to live with parents

I'm currently trying to make a plan to leave husband of 8 years. We have 2 primary school age children.
Has anyone else sold the family home and then gone back to live with patents for a while to save up some money.
I think he will want 50/50 custody, would this work the same if we were living with family? It's just that would be classed as our home?

I’m sorry I’m not sure what you are asking.
Would he not leave the family home? If not and you feel you are all safer and happier at your parents then you can leave and live there.
Until you move out that will be your primary residence so if you have the dc50/50 that is where they will be when they are with you
