Does it work out?

I'm 35, recently single, and feeling okay about it. I would love to meet someone and have kids someday. But I worry maybe I have missed the boat.
So just looking to hear some positive stories of this either working out for you, or someone you know?
Just a bit of hope.... ?

36 when I met my dds dad, we didn't last but I've a daughter I adore and a new dp I'm very happy with. Not the traditional and perfect family set up but a version of life I'm content with. A friend of a friend ended up with a parade of losers so had a baby by herself and then met a partner later.

A slightly different happy ending but maybe be useful to read about alternative paths to creating a family. I'm a solo parent by choice (had my child via a sperm donor), aged 39 after many disappointing relationships/dates, my plan B is definitely now my plan A, and things have worked out very well! No more anxiety over will it or won't it happen (a romantic relationship on which having children hinged), and the only regret I have is not having done this route sooner. I've not dated since I've had my child, but I'm not particularly bothered as I enjoy my life as it is. In theory open to meeting someone for "me", but if it doesn't happen it's really not the end of the world.

Im 36 and was single for a very long time. I always wanted to have children and meet someone but got to a point where I became content that it may not ever happen for me and that was ok, as I had nephews that I was very close to. Just as I started feeling content, I met my now husband and we were married within a year and now have a baby on the way. I wasn't looking for anyone at that stage and was honestly happy within myself and in my life situation. Sometimes you meet someone and it all falls into place very quickly x
