Is there a dating app for me?

This might sound strange but I’m recently separated, it’s been a horrible few months and was unhappy for a good few years before that.

I know I’m not ready for a relationship but I crave chatting to new (male) friends, but of flirting, bit of male attention. But I want to stay semi anonymous at least until I know someone, I don’t want to have a photo up, and can’t get my head round the horror of bumping into someone in the local supermarket that I’ve chatted to online.

i basically want to be like one of those pen pal men on sites who never want to meet up! It also turns out I’m not averse to some slightly rude texting but only once I’ve built up a rapport and connection with someone and definitely have to be anonymous for that.

is there an app for me? Most of them you seem to need to put up a photo of yourself before you can search and chat etc.

i did VERY briefly try fab swingers as you can stay anonymous but well…. It was a bit ‘much’.

You’re probably best with a chat site such as Chatib or Chatib. As for dating apps you’ll have to put a pic (a few pics actually) on but you do have the option of browsing whilst hidden do they can’t see you.

Be wary of the two chat sites though as most men are married and if they say they’re not…they’re fibbing!!!
