All these flaky guys

I just got thinking - so many threads on flaky guys who seem dismissive or not interested at best. Probably we'll never know, but I wonder how many of these have the potential to turn abusive in relationships?

Just for context I'm not dating, online or otherwise and have no interest in it, but it made me think.

I don’t know about abuse, but there was statistics that said that 75 % (I think it was even higher in europe, this was american based I believe) of users are men and old study that said 42% of people on apps are already in relationships.

Men mostly swipe on all women to see who likes them back.

And since they already in a relationship, it was never going to amount to anything anyway, that’s why the flakiness.

Apps are mosty for ego.

When I was online dating (I’m a man) I found the same with women - disinterested, sitting on their phone if we met up, non-committal about being exclusive and generally a pain.

I always tried to engage in conversation, complemented etc - but as suggested online dating does seem to be an ego thing a lot of the time.
I found my DW through a friend, and it was much ‘easier’ right through.
