Why is CMS allowing this?

My ex asked for a paternity test the moment I applied for maintenance. Me and his daughter had the test done within 5 days of his payment of the test. I called to check progress and he still hadn’t booked the test ten days later?! I said to cms surely you can see this is a man playing the game to delay matters. They chased him and today they’ve told me he’s booked his test but it’s in the third week of February?! That will be over a month after he requested it and weeks after we’ve done ours. I don’t get how this is ok? He is clearly playing the system and another month will now go by with no support? I’ve had enough.

He is only making things worse for him. The payments are due since he received the letter from CMS notifying him of the claim. The arrears are piling up.

Any way you can validate he is the one taking the test.

As a guy - i know that there’s some pub talk on this to avoid cms. My fellow gender disgusts me sometimes - but i wasn’t the only one who called it out in at the time.

My ex hasn’t paid any CMS for 8 years - he did employ himself through his own limited company but now he pays his new partner instead so on paper it looks like he doesn’t earn anything. Not a lot I can do about it!

Jesus, they’d trick their own child into thinking they weren’t their father?!! That’s horrifying.

I have called and he’s still not booked the test! Isn’t it obvious he has NO uncertainty as to paternity? Why can’t cms see this?
