Not married, jointly own the house, one DC. I could afford to buy him out but doubt he’d accept. He couldn’t afford it unless his parents helped, which is likely.
He would never move out unless I forced the sale which I believe I could. Has anyone done this? Did you then move into rented temporarily until you found somewhere to buy which seem really disruptive for DC, or get into a chain? Just really curious of the logistics of untangling.
