Issues with sleeping????

Hi guys,

We live on a ground floor flat and unfortunately I feel like I cannot cope. I am struggling with sleep. My upstairs neighbour is a young girl with a 2 year old who both sleep in until the early afternoon and are up most of late afternoon and during the night. They bang around a lot (understand that this is what 2 year olds to) and I can’t sleep when baby sleeps during the day (I can’t anyway as I wouldn’t sleep at night) but this is only 1 of the reasons I cannot sleep well. The other reason being my husband who snores very loudly. He has tried sleeping in the living room but I can still hear him! It’s so loud and this also keeps me up!

any suggestions? I’m struggling to wake up to feed baby and function throughout the day!

thank you for your support x

Oh horrible :( that kind of thing can wear you down so badly.
I use “loops” earplugs, the lighter kind for crowds (to dampen noise when I still need to interact with people, and the strongest kind for sleeping (the kind for rock concerts and such.)

I’m not sure they’d block out snoring completely, but they might help

I feel for you, I really do. Waking with your own baby is quite bad enough. As there are two sources of noise you could try shutting both out - Ear plugs? White noise device?

or getting hubby snoring device (Boots sells it) and having gentle friendly word with neighbour?

hope you find some useful advice here ❤️‍🩹
