Just this really. I’ve come upstairs to get ready for bed, etc, then DD (21) I hear going downstairs to chat with her Dad.

Its been like this for so long but tonight feels worse.

Sorry just needed to share as I’m feeling sensitive ..

Hey, sorry you feel this way. She still loves you. What sort of things do they talk about? Are you the one who enforces the rules and is he the fun parent? Have you made an effort to do mother and daughter stuff?

Children may be naturally closer to another parent as they get older due to having similar personalities but I can promise you she'll love you just as much for being the amazing mother that you are. Chin up xx
