Meeting internet pal in person for 1st time, so nervous!

I 'met' a man in online forum (for a shared interest, a hobby) nearly 2 years ago. He was living in another country (work reasons) at the time but has recently moved back the UK. He's in a city about 1.5 hours from where I live.
Since 'meeting' online we've emailed most days, WhatsApp and have also done video chats (I'm satisfied his identity) and everything he'd told me about his work etc checks out online. He's on my social media so I see pics of him with friends and family, all looks fine and perfectly normal.
We're meeting in person for the first time at weekend and going for lunch at a place halfway between our 2 cities.
Of course, I'll be letting friends know where I am but just really nervous.. Haha, not in case there's anything wrong but just about whether we'll get on as well as do on the emails or WhatsApp and video chat.
Am I overthinking it all and worrying too much?

It's normal to be a bit nervous, but you have chatted a lot on line and have your hobby in common so it is highly unlikely you will be stuck for conversation.

Are you seeing it as a date, or just a friendly meet up? Are you attracted to him in terms of what you have seen so far?

I would go in with reasonably low expectations - that it may well just be a one off meet as there may be no huge spark on either side - that way you can only be pleasantly surprised if it goes better than expected.
