Intermittent Ick

I feel so bad writing this but I need some advice and whether other people have experienced this because I'm so confused! I've been dating this guy for around 3 months. Everything's been great, he's lovely, kind, funny and we have great sexual chemistry.
It's only recently started to happen but I keep getting the Ick intermittently - I've had it before where it's permanent but this comes and goes.
One minute I'm really attracted to him and the next over something stupid I get the ick.
Has anyone else had this? Has the relationship worked out? Or is this a sign that I need to end things?

I tend to think the ick is never a good sign, especially 3 months in? However.. wondering if the ick is related to your cycle maybe?

OldFan · 06/01/2023 11:40

I'dve thought it'll eventually turn into longer/mostly permanent periods of ick OP. Sad

Can you say any more about the times you are attracted to him? What sort of situations you are in?

Katherine202 · 06/01/2023 13:34

@Dodecaheidyin so the times I'm attracted to him would be just chilling , having a laugh etc. The ick comes at the most random times - normally if we're out or just certain things he says sometimes. I honestly feel so bad because he is lovely and when we're intimate it's great.

I would take this to mean that he's a great person for the short term, but not making long term plans. If you are looking for something long term this does not bode well.

Nope, after 3 months that’s a sign that this one needs to be thrown back
