hi i just need some advice. whenver i ask my boyfriend to go anywhere, he always wants to bring his friends along. he never just wants it to be me and him alone. Also today, i asked him to come to the shop with me, and he insisted on staying at home because he has to finish his application for his new job. An hour later he said messaged me and said his friend has asked him if he wants to go to the city and now he is debating on going. he did ask me if i wanted to come, but the principle is that if id of asked him to do that, he wouldve said no, but he said yes to his friend?? He is also always on his games with his friends. some advice would be appreciated please.

Leave him to his friends, & dump him.

Seriously - what is the point of flogging a dead horse?
He does not want to spend time with you so stop abasing yourself trying to change that.

There are millions of available men who will be interested in you & want to treat your properly. Make yourself available for one of them by losing this man.

Menbwho prefer the company of their friends rarely make the best husbands.

Are you both 14 ?

Biscuits1011 · 02/01/2023 14:48

Dump him. He should want to spend time with you. He doesn’t. So yeah dump him

Oh God, I was with someone like that once.
He always had to have a friend come along. I got rid of him in the end and found someone who loved spending time with me.

Either he's not interested in you, or he takes you for granted. His next girlfriend will appreciate the fact that you've shown him he has to put more effort in.

Hey OP this does not sound good. I would not like this at all and I think you know you deserve way more. Please don't entertain this he does not deserve you.

Agreed

OP He sounds selfish and I do not think this relationship has any life in it.

I think you'd be better off finishing with him and finding another BF. Sorry.

Anotherbloomingchristmas · 02/01/2023 15:39

Does he just want you for sex?
Dump him.

GoT1904 · 02/01/2023 16:08

What do you do together?

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/01/2023 16:12

When you're in the home, do you pay for things, shag him and clean up?

Because you might be just a domestic appliance to him. His friends are for fun.
