Coping with toxic ex behaviour to dcs

I've been divorced a long time but my ex is narcissistic and controlling. I've had counselling and moved on but I'm still finding it hard when it comes to the teenage dc, with the ex always creating dramas and upsetting them. They don't see him that much, but when they do he creates dramas and I feel like I am having to pick up the pieces, they complain to me about his behaviour and so on. They are nearly adults now and I've really had enough of the ex. Is there a way I can cope with this better? Anyone been through this?
