anyone struggling! It’s my wedding anniversary today. And it’s so hard…. They kids have gone thier days for three nights now. And I’m struggling. I think I’ve been in survival mode the last 9 months since he left. And now it’s getting. I feel melancholy and sadness and a bit fear.

just stay in survival mode a little bit longer and when your kids come back enjoy them.

can you think of anything to do this evening that will help you relax - a nice bath with some music, a lovely feel good film, calling a friend for a chat??

Do whatever will make you feel better, even if it's listening to sad song and having a cry to get it out of your system. You have 3 days to reset and get prepared for having your precious DC back and having the best xmas you can. You've got this. You can do it.

I have just laid all their gifts out, not many as money is tight but nice to see them out and will wrap a few with a Xmas film on.

This sounds lovely - I love wrapping presents and even do their names in Elf writing on the tags x

thats lovely…. Im going to go out and get some. Ice ribbons and tags for the gifts from ‘Santa’ as this is the first year I actually have time to do it nicely
