I didn't know whether to post this under mental health but have you ever felt lonely when in a relationship? We have a 2 y/o and DP is always working or tired from work.

I feel so alone and lost.

Have you talked to them about how you feel? They might be feeling the same way.

Yeah l get that. People don't often realise but loneliness is not just something you feel once you are old. Parenthood changes so many things about you and although it can be amazing to be a parent it also comes with challenges such as loneliness.

Are you feeling lonely in your relationship? Do you feel like you carry most of the parenting? It can bring loneliness when you can't voice it to your partner for whatever reason, and friends may not understand it if they are childless.

What have you tried to do to address it?
