Ex not showing up after making plans

So my ex who hasn’t seen our child in 6 years told them he was coming today to take them Xmas shopping and hasn’t showed up, no contact from him what so ever and he last messaged them one week ago, this is something he use to do when he was seeing them make constant arrangements to turn up then just not show up at all. I’m not going to allow him to do that again this time round so how should I proceed with this as I’ve been told that regardless of this behaviour I should still allow him to see them again after 2 years not bothering?

How old is your child?

SpinningFloppa · 17/12/2022 12:38

That should have said children, we have children together but it was the 10 year old he said this to.

Is it 2 years or 6 years?

If your child is 10 and hasn't seen dad for 6 years. It was made ness to allow this. The child will have to clue who he is.

You stop all contact and let him take you to court if he is tat bothered.

I’m going to ask for this to be deleted as I’ve made too many mistakes teaches me for not reading it back, it’s 2 years not 6 🤦🏻‍♀️
