STI Check

My wife of 15 years has admitted an affair, separated about a month ago.
She has only admitted certain details and drip fed information but only when caught out and continues to lie and gaslight.

I think I’m probably overreacting (we used condoms for birth control purposes) but I‘ve ordered a home test kit just for my own peace of mind and sanity

She’s not living here with me now so won’t see it and I’m not doing it out of spite which is what she will think if she finds out - she pops back to see kids so hopefully it will come in discreet packaging.

Now I’m worried what I will find out, I’m male and in my 40’s never done this before… how embarrassing 😳

Sorry to hear this. Don’t be embarrassed, it’s far better to get yourself checked. I went to the local clinic for mine, after I found out about my husband’s affair. It was the usual story of the AP believing his lies about not having sex with his wife and she admitted to not using contraception with him.
Take care of yourself and your family
