Couples therapy

Has anyone had success with couple/ marriage counselling sessions, was it helpful and did it help towards better communication x

Nope it was hideous and now divorcing. Maybe if we had tried 6 months earlier would have helped more so timing is important.

We found it helpful at the time but ultimately it didn't really change anything and we're are separated and will be divorcing in due course.
Like the above poster maybe if we had gone for it sooner the outcome may have been different but sadly we'll never know.

Total waste of time and money in my experience. I think individual counselling is much better

Our issues were sexual in nature so we used a very progressive sex therapist, it helped us tremendously! We loved the homework.
