Husband emotionally cheated

Found out this morning that husband has been having an emotional relation with a woman at work for 6 months.

Found out as I took his phone this morning whilst he was in the shower and saw the messages.

I’ve had my suspicions for about two months but he has gaslighted me whenever I’ve brought up concerns.

No idea why I’m posting, I just feel totally lost as I’m on maternity leave and have two young kids.

Are you sure it’s just emotional?

I’m so sorry, GC. You must be in shock. Cheating and then gaslighting (abusing) you during your pregnancy/caring for your new baby is the lowest of the low. There are no excuses that ever could justify this transgression.

Are you in a position to put him out? He needs to experience a consequence and feel the loss of you. In your shoes, I’d tell him to leave while you weigh your options.

Shine a light on the rock they’re hiding under and confide in loved ones for support.

I am sorry you have been betrayed like that.

If I were you, I'd try to get to the bottom of why he had this emotional affair with someone else and maybe visit a counselor to help.

I hope things get better.
