Has anyone had any success with this? Perfect in every way on paper but worried I can't see past platonic friends!

Do you mean that you have a long term friend who you are considering a romantic relationship with?

I think if you have to ask, the answer is unfortunately its not going to work. Early days in a new relationship is the ripping each other’s clothes off phase where its all heady and fun. If you’re questioning it already, I would think it’s probably not for you. What’s making you have doubts?

Why ruin a good friendship if you're not feeling the romance?

I tried this once . Didn’t work . I just couldn’t bring myself to fancy him and feel sexually attracted to him as he was a long time friend !
