How often does your other half say you look nice?

Every time he sees me - we don't live together to see each other at weekends.

We've been together 20 years so don't compliment each other as much as we did in the early days! He'll say it maybe once a month - often if I've made an effort but sometimes out of the blue when I'm just slouching around the house.

My ex never did altho I complimented him all the time.

Rarely. If he tells me I look good I know I look amazing. Likewise, on the rare occasion he says he doesn’t like something it goes straight to the charity shop

Wow really? What if you really like it? Do you really decide what to wear or not to wear based on what your OH says?

Now. This is interesting for me, because my current, new, wonderful, fabulous relationship is - never! It's because he doesn't value it. Which is actually marvellous now I'm used to it. He tells me im amazing, strong, a fab mother, all sorts of other compliments about my personality but nothing about my looks. Like we all are aiming to do with our daughters!

Almost every day. He calls me beautiful. Has done for nearly sixteen years.

Daily, even when I'm in my most scruffy clothes, no make-up, exhausted, and with absolutely inexplicable hair.
He does say other lovely things daily too - that he loves my mind, that he thinks I'm funny, intelligent, strong etc; as a whole I feel very valued and loved (and I know he's definitely still attracted to me!)
