Feel disappointed

I’m in the early stages of a relationship, just a few dates but I really really like him.
I haven’t seen him for a couple of weeks as he was on holiday and I’m going away on holiday next weekend. He asked to see me before I go and I’m only free 2 nights and he’s got plans on both.
I would never expect him to change already made plans but I just feel disappointed.
I’ve suggested we meet when I get back but to set the date now (before other things get on the calendar). That won’t he got another 3 weeks now. He hasn’t replied yet.
Have I done the right thing…. Feel a bit disappointed.😥

Take it as a good sign that he asked to see you before you go away. It's no-one's fault that you're both too busy to make it happen but I understand your disappointment if things have been going so well so far and you'd like to keep the momentum going. Four hours isn't that long (unless he's left you on read) so just give him time to reply in his own time. If he doesn't reply or doesn't want to make arrangements now, just concentrate on looking forward to and enjoying your holiday and don't let this pull you down too mich. Yes, it's upsetting but at least you have something to look forward to and take your mind off it.
But I do hope he gets in touch and you have both your holiday and a date to look forward to
