Anyone come out as LQBTQ and ex took it badly?

Just that really. My ex cheated and lied and messed me around and it ended. Over a year later I started seeing a woman and the comments he makes to our son are just disgusting (gay jokes etc). Is he that threatened that I am now with a woman? Up to now I am just ignoring it and luckily my son is a very mature teenager who doesn’t hold the same ignorant views as his father.

Just ignore, he’s your ex

Honestly he's an arse. And it wouldn't have mattered what you've done he would have been horrible regardless

Who cares if your awful ex feels threatened? Stop trying to find an explanation for him. You son is an accepting teenager, you have moved on and are happier. Let the ex wind himself up with prejudice who really cares? You shouldn't.
