Parallel Parenting ?

My narc ex is a nightmare to co-parent with. At the moment the pick ups/drop offs are awkward, he doesn’t acknowledge me and is abrupt if I message to ask a question about timings/inform him of something (even the children have picked up on his abruptness).

I have heard about parallel parenting, what is it? Has anyone used it?

“Parallel parenting is a method of shared parenting in which parents interact as little as possible with each other while maintaining their relationships with their children. This can be an effective method when you and your ex have trouble with a civil relationship.” From google.

I think many parents that don’t get on do this but without calling it fancy names.
