Date night ideas for Winter??

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas for date night in autumn/winter. I have a second date coming up this Wednesday evening after work but I’m struggling for ideas.

We went for a drink the first time but I wanted to do something different, more cosy/outdoorsy.
I love the idea of a nighttime walk and a hot chocolate, but all the coffee shops close so early. There’s also some halloween trails but I don’t know if they’re more for children.

Does anyone have any good ideas?

Does you date like outdoor stuff ? If not then it might not be welcomed ! The date is for both of you so maybe try asking and give a few options .
halloween trails will be full of kids in half term yes .

You could go bowling , indoor crazy golf, ghost walk if outdoors Is a yes. A lot of it depends on where you live and how far you want to travel though

Are you guys in the city or do you have any cosy countryside pubs nearby? If you want a drink afterwards, think pub is the way to go.

Best ever wintertime date was, we did an outdoors event and guy took me to a cosy countryside pub not far off from closing time. We ended up ordering a bottle of wine and kissing by the fireplace, much to the amusement of staff!

Depending on where you are, 8-9pm-ish you can pop into a wine bar or restaurant for a glass, and it might not be so busy, so could be a nice place to talk and get to know one another. They'll do hot choc and tea for you too!

Parks or gardens that are lit up like Kew or Lightopia
Funfairs
Bat or sky watching walks
Nights at museum
Walking tours of a specific interest of theme
Night bus tour or river cruise
Christmas market?
Fireworks night?
ice skating?
