Not any more thank you. I've decided I need some new friends with healthier behaviour. And sadly, a new best friend especially. Totally piss-taking pushing her agenda on me just because her dh is leaning on her. It is not my job to step into someone else's life & pick up the slack because their poor life choices have had undesirable consequences. I'm being deliberately vague here obviously but this couple know I'm on minimum wage and they've just received a very large inheritance. Yet I'm being coerced into picking up the tab for some of their outgoings. When I say coerced, I mean really heavily pressured again & again. Then they brought in the flying monkeys. I was forced to keep repeating no, no, no. I hope I've heard the end of it now but it's a big shame. I've lost my best friend. Tell me I'm not alone in this.
