So, there are a lot of trolls about, but there are also some people that genuinely need support, it’s hard to distinguish who’s real and who’s not, especially on the internet.
Basically what I’m getting at, is, that a genuinely vulnerable person may be put in a more harmful situation if they’re not believed and accused of making things up.
Its surely more wise to signpost OPs to external places of support instead of throwing accusations around, just in case?
And people need to be wise to only signpost, instead of sending money, vouchers etc
