My friend is driving me up the wall

I have a dear friend but she is exasperating me at the moment. I can't give many details in case she's on here. But basically she wants me to do a favour for a 3rd party. A favour that will be on-going & cost a considerable amount of my time & money. This is something that's been put on her table and she's had enough but can't say no. I've already said no five times and tonight I get asked again! I nearly snapped but managed to just politely say 'No, that doesn't work for me'. I don't want to spoil our relationship but I might need to use stronger words if she asks me again. Has anyone else had this?

My sister in law is like this with a skill I have.

i just don’t answer the requests. Totally pretend I didn’t see the message.

Blimey. Stop worrying about damaging the friendship by being blunt, she couldn’t give a shit about ruining it by being so bloody pushy.

“Joan, stop asking me, I’ve said no and I don’t want you bringing it up again!”

”Oh god Joan, not this again, drop it”

I have a friend who wanted me to host her friend for a few days because he wanted to save money on food and stay obviously. I said no multiple times . She kept on insisting to the point that I felt she was being too pushy. I am glad my response was still a firm no. She went low contact for a few months and I pretended not to notice. Now we are back on.
