Moving In Together

When is the right time to do this?

I'm in a relationship of a year and the conversation has come up around moving in together in the new year.
Due to past relationship issues I'm naturally questioning it, but I really like this man, and would love to spend more time with him.

There is no right and wrong but if you're questioning it on here then you're probably not ready

Depends on if there are kids involved. For us there are so we have to wait till we are together another 4 years before we can take that step. If you do not have kids or ties etc then you could move in this weekend but it really is up to how you feel yourself.

Why do you want to live together - testing a future marriage? Can't bear to be apart? Sharing bills? Saves having to get a cab home? One of you is about to become homeless?

It's always good to have your independence. What is your current housing situation? Do you rent or own? What's his?
