To go alone?

My boyfriend of almost a year showed some very undesirable behaviour on Friday when drunk. This involved name calling kicking walls, threatening to drive drunk, I could go on........

It's not the first time he's let me down but will definitely be the last!!

We have a 5 day break to Greece 🇬🇷 booked in a couple of weeks, should I go alone?!

I'm normally fairly confident and happy in my own company but feeling low and lacking in confidence 🤷🏼‍♀️, wise words of advice needed please?!

Just to add I've asked a few friends but nobody can get the time off work/childcare to come.

Yes, 100%. Please go. Take a pile of great books and eat, sleep, sun, swim yourself silly. It will be glorious.

I have holidayed alone before and the only thing I don't particularly love is eating out alone in the evening. I tend to have a big lunch in a restaurant and in the evening get a smaller takeaway - Greece is great for this as you can get gyros every night! Then I just have a stroll and an ice cream and a fairly early to bed.

Go! Greece is lovely. I’m widowed, and regularly took my DDs as children to a different Greek island every year. I was never hassled, the Greeks were welcoming and friendly but never in your face or persistent if you weren’t interested.
Have a lovely time relaxing in the sunshine and ditch the crap boyfriend before you go.
