Struggling to get over ex

My ex was everything I ever wanted in a person. We had the same life goals, same humour, he was so good looking and the sex life was incredible. He was lovely too. Always bigged me up.
He ended things with me out of nowhere 4 months ago on a whim because I was having a bit of a hard time and he couldn’t deal with giving me reassurance all the time.

it ended amicably but not heard a peep from him since. He still has me on social media etc.

I just really can’t get over him. Nobody on this planet compares, can anybody help?

Ok there are a couple of things I would suggest

make a list of his bad points, the way he finished it because you were going through a hard time? This one bad point pretty much erases the good ones to be honest. Read the list often

social media, you have to and I mean have to not look, it becomes like a compulsion to look but it’s prolonging things

think of him as a chapter in your book, not everyone you meet is meant to stay xx

Loads of people on this planet are at least as good as him. But you will never see that if you don't start letting him go.

As PP said there’s one big negative right there, he ended things when the going got tough. So he’s far from perfect. I think the best thing to do is to delete him from social media, or snooze him for a few months and genuinely don’t check up on him etc. Try and go on some dates, there’s a lot of more fish in the sea as your granny would say!
