Cooking up some conflict ...

Hello!

Wondering what other folks argue about when it comes to sharing cooking?

We disagree on how we would like to make dinner - I prefer to batch cook from scratch as infrequently as possible, and DP prefers doing everything by meal prep kits. They would rather shop in person, and I think online could be more efficient. I would happily eat from a small range of meals, they like a big variety. Have others had these kind of disagreements? How did you resolve them if so?

Any words of wisdom appreciated!

You compromise...?

When you say meal prep kits do you mean stuff like hello fresh ? If so it's a complete waste of money !! Just get a bloody cookery book and buy the ingredients...

Compromise? It's not that difficult.

eat your batch cooked meals half the week and partner cooks fresh the other half.

Does it really matter that much whether you shop in person or online? Just do whatever works at that week (or however frequently you shop).

Whoever is cooking gets to choose how and what they cook.
