Domestic Emotional Abuse

Today, Marriage Counsellor said there’s no point doing anymore sessions as my now ex partner is not flexible. He has also confirmed that I have been suffering from domestic emotional abuse on the phone after the session. What do I do now? Any constructive advice would be welcomed? I feel lost. What can I do to safeguard myself & children?

I have my third personal counselling session tomorrow so I am seeing a professional.

Ex partner has left the home, nothing official has happened. We have 4 children and ex partner has been diagnosed in the past with depression and does not want to communicate with children until ‘things get better’. He is still blaming me as the cause for our breakdown. There have been 3 incidents of domestic violence in the past, which has been
recorded with my GP, but no police involved. The children love him, but are relieved that he is gone.
