How do I leave my partner?

I feel like I'm always bringing up the same things to my partner that make me unhappy and have been for the 3 years we've been together. Many of them revolve around his ex. The relationship started off with him doing things behind my back like going to her house to see their son on days he didn't have him and doing anything she asked at the drop of the hat but lied to me about where he was. Its continued by him lying to social services for her so that she didn't get into trouble, doing everything she asks of him and letting her walk all over him. Now he's finally seen sense and he has his son full time through a court order and she just has contact with him, so he isn't as bad as he was at the start. He's even had his tattoo of her name covered finally. However she still has his name on her and second tattoo of the day/month/year they got together which he is aware of. They are starting to get along for the sake of their son which I thought was great and even helped him with. But now they are messaging all the time and I feel like he's starting to get his feelings back for her. I even find him occasionally scrolling down her Facebook page.

For these past reasons and other reasons such as him constantly liking other girls pictures and watching porn a lot, I've had trust issues and made these known. He promises these things will stop but they don't. So I keep feeling more and more miserable.

We now have a 3 week old baby, but with the things relating to his ex and other reasons, I just want to cry all the time when I think about our relationship. I just don't trust him. But I don't know how to leave him. We have a rented house together where me, him, his son, my son and our shared daughter all live. I have no where to go if I was to leave. But neither does he if he was to go. His dad paid a lot of money toward our decor and flooring for the house, so anytime I've mentioned splitting up, he just gets mad and says he isn't leaving until I've given him the money back that his dad put into the house. I don't have that sort of money. So I don't know what to do. Any advice?

im so sorry you must be absolutely sick of this situation, and be feeling trapped. How old are the other children?

if you left you would get a lot of help financially and stuff him if he wants money for the renovations. What’s he going to do? It’s not like you had a legal document drawn up.

I would have a look on turn2us which shows how much you could be entitled to if you left. It looks like he’s not planning on going anywhere.

this is where you need to gather your strength. I was in a similar situation and if I didn’t leave I thought I was literally going to end up sectioned
