DH has moved out so it's me and DC. I earn £930 pcm. DH going to continue to pay mortgage. Will I be untitled to universal credit or anything or am I earning too much?

Yes you will get help on that as it’s quite low. Takes 4/5 weeks for the first payment to come through though

Thanks. What do I do about applying? I'm a bit shell shocked right now

Yes. My take home pay was more than that when I made enquiries about UC although I was renting.

Almost certainly yes. Do a benefit calculator ( policy in practice is my fave) and claim today.

also single persons council tax, possibly council tax support/ exceptional relief .

look at your water company’s watersure tariff.

If you end up on UC switch to cheaper broadband Designed for those on UC

You claim through gov.uk. Good luck.
