Can it ever be innocent?

Out of the blue new workmate who is mentioned every evening for a good six months?

As soon as steps in the door a little resume of this individual and their daily doings?

Is this a man mentioning a woman, or vice versa ? I’d say not, one might just have a crush on the other, or it might be more.

I mention a lad at work a lot to my partner, I know I do, but he's 2 years older than my daughter so absolutely no way on God's earth that I fancy him, I just find him and his antics absolutely hilarious. It may be that he fancies her so I'd be on (small) alert, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions either on this alone
