Snooping on my phone...

I think my partner has been snooping on my phone when I leave the room. He doesn't know my passcode but could easily pick it up if watching my unlock my phone.

The reason I think this is because I left my phone under my pillow and went to the bathroom. I came back and phone was half under the pillow and half out.

I have an iPhone and went to close all my
Apps before bed and noticed my notes app was open. I hadn't been on my notes app all day? So why was it there?

Is there anyway I can tell if he's been going on my phone before I confront him???

Well I'd take the phone to the bathroom and change the passcode. What's he like normally? I would hate to live with that level of scrutiny.

He is usually fine! A few times he has mentioned things I have text my friends so it makes me question it even more!! Yes I will change my passcode but I want to ask him about why he's been going on my phone first

Change the passcode out of his sight and set up fingerprint or face recognition so he doesn't see a passcode being put in.

I'd change your passcode and the next time you leave the room with your phone put something on top of it, a piece of jewellery or lip balm and see if it's been moved. If you think he's definitely went through your phone I would confront him

Can you try and catch him out? Say you're going to the bathroom but quietly nip back after a few seconds.

Don't forget that when you check your open apps, they're shown in chronological order, so the last one you used is the one on top.

That is a good idea!! Then I will know for sure if he's been on my phone!!

Yes I want to catch him out to confront him and ask why is he going on my phone! My phone is dry af so not sure what he is looking for

I wouldn't change your password. Yet. There are apps that catch people trying to snoop on your phone by taking their picture. I'd install one of those and see what happens. Get solid proof and then get rid.

I don't think so? I don't go out much or talk to anyone else so really unsure why he's going on my phone (if he is)

My EXH went through all my messages and printed some of then off ( found a page which had fallen down below) when HE was having an affair - he was looking for evidence that I was a nag or whatever I guess to absolve his guilty conscience.

I have suspicions of him cheating and maybe that's why he's gone through my phone... that's why I need to know for sure before o confront him /:
