Marriage counselling/therapy

Have you and your husband/partner gone for marriage counselling - or if you are at the stage where you think you need therapy - does that mean you are probably over?

DH has always been emotionally withdrawn, but has become more so in the last few years - covid, bereavement and boredom have all played a part. But our marriage imo is dying and I'm not sure if he sees it, or cares!
I don't want to end it without trying to resolve the issues. I haven't raised this with him at the moment as I have an important job interview coming up and would like to get that out of the way before I start tackling our relationship issues.

But my main question is - if you have gone to marriage counselling - did it help save your marriage or just help you leave it?

TIA
(btw - name changed for this)
