Coping with husband with severe health anxiety

Hi all, do any of you look after someone in your life with health anxiety? I've been with my husband for more than 10 years and he's always had health anxiety. But over the years it seems to have gotten worse and worse and the last couple years since our daughter was born have been especially hard. His symptoms and constant checking are a daily issue and some days his anxiety is so bad that he shouts at me and our daughter, hits himself in the head, cries, all kinds of things. He's having therapy but he's not especially proactive with it. I'm feel sometimes like I'm holding onto our relationship and family with my fingertips sometimes. Can any of you relate?

I can't relate, but unacceptable for him to be shouting at you and your daughter. How old is she?

He needs to be on medication too, as a sign he is trying. If he's tried something then he needs to go back and try something else. There are loads of things they can try.
