So our dm is v ill.
She has been a difficult person to deal with and done numerous hurtful things that individually we all had therapy for.
One db and one dsis had little if no contact in months or yrs.
I visit but keep boundaries now for my own MH.
I love her she is my dm.
Suddenly the nc ones are doing everything for her,we even had a group chat so visits could be spaced out.
Last night they asked if I was going today.I said no I've had a back to back 12 hr days in a stressful environment. I would go Fri.
Now I'm blocked from the group !!
I guess the NC ones are making up for time they didn't bother and they don't have a punishing schedule.
Am I right this is guilt fuelled help at the 11th hour.
I don't even feel guilty so am I hard faced for sticking to my guns.

No you really need to set boundaries and stick to them, so well done for that!

I do wonder if any possible inheritance may be the reason they are acting this way now…

Maybe.
I think it is a sudden realisation that she could pass away though.
My dsis did this with df and regretted hardly seeing him.
Myself and my other dbro are continuing with our lives while doing what we physically and mentally can.

They will be making sure they get inheritance and/or be on the glory run. "We did everything we could to help her".

Definitely keep up your boundaries to what you feel youre able to do. I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. Take care of yourself.

Thank you.
One dsis doesn't work.

Most likely money driven.
